I am admittedly left on social issues, and yes, a fiscal conservative. If that equates to centrist, so be it, but don't ever accuse me of being right of center, that would be an insult.

There was a time in America, when people could have varying levels of values, left or right, or center or whatever, without being forced to follow the lead of someone else's ideas. Radio shows, TV, and all that.

And, guess what, I actually change my mind sometimes, when I hear a really good, honest, argument or discussion.

Interesting, the last name I was accused of was, I think something like Martingale, ghoul? And, obviously not me, me not him. I already admitted to having another nickname, but not this year. Perhaps martinggoul was the guy you're thinking of.

But, regardless, there a lot more people in the US that are not obligated to think all rightwing or all leftwing, just not enough of us.

Why the obsession with screen names anyway? A discussion is worthy, regardless of who it may be with.

What else do you need me to say? I want Obama instead of Romney, and put my money where my mouth is. No false pretenses. And, with bets for charity, how can it hurt anyone who is honest in their predictions? So fare, just Jem and I, it seems.
