No, some of my relatives are from Chicago, and paying too much and having to pay higher and higher amounts because of a bidding war is not the Chicago way.

No wonder Creamer went to jail-no wonder Rezko is in jail. Yet the Schakowsky's and Obama's and Daley's keep on ticking. They're like the Mob (who until recently was a prime force in Chi Dem politics). These guys know how to layer things so that even when caught they can't be convicted.

So? Obama put three bids on the property, which was overpriced by a doctor with zero ties to Rezko. His first was rejected. His second offer was rejected, and his third offer was accepted. If that doctor was trying to do him a favor that's a strange way of doing it -- plus Obama paid the going rate for properties in that area at that time.

So what does this have to do with the crook? The crook bought the property next door, to which Obama purchased a ten foot strip from and paid $60,000 OVER the appraised value.

You guys need to get a life.

Wonder how much less poverty there would be in the world if an indigenous populuation actually shared in the profits from their natural resourses in a more fair proportion than had been shared in decades past in South America and Africa. This sort of social darwinism is outdated Tarzan and has run its course. What democrats are trying to do is return some of that opportunity to lower income workers who have become slaves to their need to support themselves with expenses that even 10 years ago didn't exist. This "you too can be a millionaire" is like "anyone in Amercia can be President" it has alot to do with who your daddy was to oversimplifiy it. There isn't a better example for that hope to become true than an Obama win in Novermber. Sure there are exceptions but making it closer to the rule isn't simply all self motivation.
