The point that needs to be made over and over and over and over... is that presidency is a mental position. It requires intelligence and lots of it. John McCain has never done anything to convince me of his brilliance in any way shape of form. That is decisive.

IshopatPublix I understand that you question McCains overall intellegence but the problem here is that besides a couple speeches you have never actually seen your favorite candidate make one important decision in his entire life. It's like your are defending a trading strategy that has never been tested in the real market, it is merely an over hyped theory.
The desperation of your take is directly proportional to how far back into history you have to scavenge to support it.

John McCain the son and grandson of admirals graduated 5th from the bottom from USNA. Clearly a different path was in store for McCain provided he was actually competent.
