The first thing you have to understand is nothing happens by accident with this crowd, so those pics were staged. Of course, I suppose it is entirely possible Obama's Secret Service detail were exhausted by another long night of drinking and strip clubs and just didn't see a stranger taking closeup pics of the President of the United States.

I think they actuall think this stuff makes him look macho. I recall back in 2008 the media were just drooling that here was a smart black man who also worked out. Their total wet dream. To any of us who have ever worked out, the oics are beyond embarrassing but for media wussies like Jay Carney, they probably got boners thinking about it.
