Obama Enacting Card-Check

They don't want secret ballots because that prevents them from strong-arming union members to vote their way.

Secret ballots prevent peer pressure, harrassment and strong-arm tactics and so the Obama regime wants to eliminate them.

Its a pattern repeated throughout this administration.
 
For the most part I support the union worker...until they get really stupid. This is one of those times. If you can't get the troops to vote your way with something other than intimidation, you don't deserve to win.

Boy is that the understatement of the year (so far). Have a look at the history of union busting in this country, and I don't mean 100 years ago, either.

Unions have a long history of violence and mob connections. Among the worst is the SEIU, a big Obama supporter.

The question here though is not if unions are useful. It is whether or not workers should be allowed a secret ballot before being forced to hand over part of their paychecks to union bosses and taking the risk that unions will end up costing them their jobs by driving up costs or going on strike.

It's typical of Obama and democrats to use the federal courts to try to impose another deeply unpopular leftwing scheme on people. They did it with gay marriage, they did it with abortion on demand, they are trying to do it with immigration, now this.
 
There's no question that a corporation can apply a lot of pressure, but in the end you're protected by a secret ballot and the corporation has no way of knowing how you voted.

If the secret ballot is taken away and you vote against the union everyone will know -- prepare to have your kneecaps busted.
