If there is a civil war I suspect we will be on the same side as you too will fight for freedom. But, if not; if you decide to fight for oppression it will be fun taking a few pot shots at you. Okay, yeah, most likely most of us will be on the side of freedom.
Now, let's get real. What we would be fighting is not a bunch of redcoats. There will be no war. There will only be "collateral damage" and "detainees".
We all play games here, and oddly we are all on the same side. We do not like government.
Now, some of you think we can fight it. This where we differ. We also differ on what liberty means.
For me, liberty means being able to be fully acknowledged as an American. My people have bled and died for this nation.
Now the nation has elected a black president. Great! But I have also clearly stated that the Presidency is an office. When Obama sat in that chair he represented something beyond what we elected him to be.
Pres. Elect Christie will find himself in that same boat.
Taking away our guns is something they will not do directly. As LeapUp stated, what good is a gun without ammo? That's the real plan.
Tomorrow, we will start another flame war. But today, I appreciate the post you made, and know that whatever we say, or do, going forward, is irrelevant.

Do I sense sarcasm in your answer? Hard to tell in print. I've been converting cash to assets since the fed began his print fest.
I know 10's of people on active, and 100's of vets. I don't fear my military. But I question why my DHS needs over 2 billion rounds of ammo, and you should too. Especially since they won't say when asked about it.
Again, not sure if you are being sarcastic. I'm not anywhere near such a concern, but as someone who has some conservative views, I have been under attack from the media and the left. You have yourself said conservatives are a thing of the past, though I suspect you have some conservative values yourself in the true meaning of the word (not the traditional left wing definition.)
Most blacks, and Latinos, for that matter, are conservative by nature.
Historically tho, we go democrat because of an underlying current which I am sure you are aware of . We get the feeling of tolerance, but not acceptance, from the GOP.

I don't think Christie will even be the Republican nominee. He's a Rino. They wouldn't even invite him to CPAC this year. He'll have to mend a lot of fences and change some positions to even be considered.
