We just had that, and look at the shape we are in now.

We don't need dumb as a rock nor do we need too smart for our own good.

We need someone who is smart enough to know that he doesn't know everything and but smart enough to seek out those who could present the analysis w/o an agenda.

if he spread it out across the country to the smaller banks s, most of whom don't have a trading dept, and gave nothing to the top 5 who wont loan but will trade it and keep the profit,these people could go back to working and spending, and keep the balance of the remaining tarp money to feather out the real estate debt over the next 5 years, that is what would be happening ,without the lobbyists and the Rubins and g sacks,no one elected them, chase them off
 
Obama has that kind of populism in his words that people in latin america loves. When he speaks, he try to reach the less educate portion of the american society (blacks, hispanics, youngs). If he start a war against wall street he will be out of office in 2012, just like carter and johnson. He can't forget two things.

1-The government is the bigger responsible of this crisis (Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Repealing the Glass-Steagal Act allowed banks to get back into investment, commercial banking, and insurance industries--something which had been prohibited since the Great Depression, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the FED playing with rates like a Bingo game)


2-Over 100 million Americans own stock, (most stock held by middle class Americans is in IRA, Mutual Funds or 401k accounts.)


Obama will do what he has been doing all his life.. NOTHING.
