Obama Calls Trump Unfit For Presidency

So the Iran money transfer video that Drumpf described in great detail yesterday... doesn't exist.

No problems with the money transfer itself, just the lack of a videotape...

No problems with the Wikileaks e-mail expose, just a case of shoot the messenger...

You are a remarkably consistent hypocrite.

I'd like to offer a heartfelt word of encouragement to those idiots here who are hoping for a Trump victory. It is too soon to abandon all hope. There could be an October Surprise via Wikileaks, i.e. "the Russians," and Hillary's server.

One would be the specifics on the infrastructure rebuild. I like the idea. In fact, it is the only way, IMO, to get the blue collar worker back on the job. While I love the idea, the money isn't going to come out of thin air. How does this get financed, specifically?

Agreed. He's light on details for the infrastructure renewal program. Payment comes via onshoring (1-2 Trillion in additional tax revenue) and opening up domestic energy production (north slope, fracking etc).

The practicality of such a proposal, which would be debt-financed, calls into question Trump's prior promises to reduce the national debt, although he has been slippery on how quickly he would do so. In the same interview, Trump said that unlike his opponent, he wouldn't raise taxes.

“I'm doing the biggest tax decrease,” he said.

U.S. spending is projected to fall about $1.4 trillion short of the $3.3 trillion needed through 2025 for airports, highways and other infrastructure, according to the American Society of Civil Engineers. While Obama spurred spending on public works by helping cover the interest on about $188 billion of state and local debt, the program lapsed in 2010. Democrats have been unable to revive it because of Republican opposition in Congress.
