GW may be rightfully blamed, but I think the world's growing appetite for resources would have led to the digging, anyway.

I'm not going to give priority to GW, but I will say that I still believe that in the longer run it will be the environmentalists whose warnings prove to be the most accurate. Too late, of course.
 
Hospitals in the US are the nightmare. The CDC has statistics about how many die of the flu: Actually, the ones that die are the ones that are hospitalized, then they get worse stuff in the hospital and they croak. Autopsies used to be mandatory, the laws have changed, there aren't any autopsies unless the patient's family wants to pay for it so essentially there is no record of hospital mistakes leading to death and the hospitals can lower their standards and make more money with impunity.

Obama's job is to spend money to get votes so this shit is good PR for Obama and his money printing machinations..

So there's no good reason to spend money on the problem, since that spending would be merely for political gain, and there's nothing (which costs money) that can be done about hospital infections anyway, is that right?
