As for your quote, the word "one" means "myself," so when AMT says that it doesn't take much to convince him ("one") that's what he's saying -- it doesn't take much to convince him.
And on that, he's absolutely right.
Dispite my dislike of Obama and 24 pages of gobbledygook here, I don't think the Birth certificate issue has legs.
Unless Obama's mom denounced her citizenship before he was born, he has a right to be a natural born US Citizen because one of his parents was. Regardless of what she declared him at his birth, or where he was born.
One of my employees has the same issue. He is American, his Wife is Ugandan and his son was born in Uganda. He declared him a US Citizen. but even if he had declared him a Ugandan, the son has a right to change it when he turns 18 and he would then be considered a natural born US citizen.
this is unlike someone born with both parents as non US citizens, They never have a right to be a natural born US Citizen. Like Schwartzenegger. ( of couse I also know people who claim no Black can be a Natural born US citizen, because they were given their rights thru a later consitutional amendement)
So I'm sure Obama's only reason to keep the Certificate private is so the pundits wouldn't have a heyday misleading everyone who would listen that he really isn't a US citizen.

The "certification of live birth" which is the abbreviated form of the real birth certificate( certificate of live birth), may not be as iron clad proof of citizenship as the state of Hawaii has tried to claim.
You see, there is actually a department within the state of Hawaii that won't accept the abbreviated form as proof of being born in the state.
The "Department of Hawaiian Homelands" demands to see the original certificate of live birth to verify citizenship, as they state on their website that the abbreviated form lacks information required to verify birth in the state.
