Since 2009, the Obama administration issued roughly 5.5 million work permits to non-citizens beyond what Congress has authorized, according to recently-released documents that critics of U.S. policy say reveals a "shadow" or "parallel" immigration system stifling wages and taking jobs from Americans.

lesser of two evils. I don't really like 10 million illegals in my country in the shadows that can't work legally. They depress wages and create an unfair disadvantage for legal workers like you and me. We are not going to deport them, so let's get pragmatic. The problem all starts at the border. We're the greatest country in the world and we can't even defend 15k miles of our southern border?
