Yes, we got massively in debt, under Reagan mostly to foreigners.

Under Obama, most of the growth in the debt is.. non-discretionary. It was made law long before he came to power.

There is some truth to that maxpi.We didn't get much from Obamas debt because much of it went to pay the bills little Bush left him.
