Obama Ad Says McCain Can't Use A Computer

Quote from bigdavediode:

Umm... the fifth time, yes. First time he crashed was "pilot error", second accident he hit a power line (but managed to make it back), third accident (crash) was "engine failure" where the report found no engine failure, but was rewritten two weeks after issue, fourth was his plane exploding when it was hit with a missile from another US plane while parked and fifth he flew for 20 hours over Vietnam before being shot down.

I've never heard of any other pilot, except this son of an admiral, getting five shots at flying.

okkkay....

and what was it exactly that makes him a "hero"?

as far as i see it - he was obviously a very clumsy young man - and now he is a grumpy old man.

he is an "expert"? for what? flying planes? or crashing them?

he had to do a job back then.

he failed.

he wants to be president of the us? is this a joke or what??

the mcpain/failin combination will go down in history as the most ridiculous people EVER to run for prez.

Apparently Obama has a new ad out that simply makes the point that McCain can't use a computer.

Guess what? Obama can't land a fighter plane on a carrier at night.

Wonder who John's gonna blame that one on. George Will makes note of McCain's typical reaction to bad news is to find a villain as opposed to solutions.

As an example, McCain's reaction to the news GDP shrank was, "We'll clean up Wall Street."

From Will's editorial:

"From the invasion of Iraq to the selection of Sarah Palin, carelessness has characterized recent episodes of faux conservatism. Tuesday's probable repudiation of the Republican Party will punish characteristics displayed in the campaign's closing days.

Will's harshest seeming terms, and the bulk of his attention, seems to go to Palin. This is not surprising -- he's been one of the godfathers of the anti-Palin, scent-of-common-sense conservative fringe for some time now. And, really, one would hope that Palin's inability to nail down the precise duties of the Vice Presidency would set Will's teeth on edge. Still, it's refreshing to see Will put it in these terms: "Perhaps Palin's confusion about the office for which she is auditioning comes from listening to its current occupant. Dick Cheney, the foremost practitioner of this administration's constitutional carelessness in aggrandizing executive power, regularly attends the Senate Republicans' Tuesday luncheons."

Will calls out McCain for his "history of reducing controversies to cartoons," and then, with a flourish, all but throws McCain's legacy under the bus:"

McCain's Youtube videos get far more views than Obama's. McCain also gets far more favorable blog coverage than Obama. And his political ads get more media coverage.
