Obama a poster child of affirmative action?

A lot can be said about Obama, but being a product of affirmative action, is not one of them, in my opinion.

He was not spotted 25 electoral votes.

Although, He was a beneficiary of sorts from the euphoria that guilt-ridden whites had when voting for him, and of course the percentage of the 99% of blacks who voted for him based on race alone.

As for his schooling and such ... clearly the guy showed promised when young, which is what admissions are based on, and it would be hard to deny that he'd make a good lecturer, he'd have the benefits of notes, which he reads masterfully.

Let's say, the minimum FICO for a lender is 550. A non-minority has that and gets a loan. A minority has the same but does not get a loan? How does the lender justify that?

So is the AA doctrine "If the minority is equally qualified, he cannot be denied because of his race*"? Or, is it "because he is a minority, he must be given a loan if his FICO is 500"?

*This doesn't seem likely to me, as we already have anti-discrimination laws.
