Oanda connection

Everyone loves a good conspiracy theory, but I think it's just a good, old-fashioned screw-up. I and others have observed that Oanda's client and server implementations have become less reliable in the last couple of years.

Yep, it seems the more functionality they add the worse it gets! I can't wait to see what kind of a mess trailing stops will cause, lol. Trailing stops, great, you just won't be able to log in to use them :)

My point is what was stated. Oanda is okay for those starting out, but they need to do something with their software because of too many "lost connection" and slow fills. It happened too much for my liking. Others may have better service. Deliberate? just my opinion.

In this instance slow fills and some slippage on platform quotes (both positive and negative) were a direct result of connection issues, which it appears Oanda have resolved during their scheduled weekend maintenance.

You don't explain your reasons for thinking that connection issues are deliberate and like I say it obviously wouldn't be in Oanda's best interests to lose revenue through lost trades.

Oanda, like any other broker or marketmaker, aren't perfect. Legitimate complaints are one thing, unfounded conspiracy theories are what they are.

believe it or not I get concerned that I post too much trading truths, so I manipulate MODS into deleting by posting in announcement things like WE WILL ALL DIE etc etc
