Oanda - Add Your SCAM SCREENS Here

Quote from Ivanovich:

Ok, big time error tonight.

I have two accounts with Oanda. Let's just call them account A and account B.

Had sell orders in XAU/USD stacked down from 915 to 880 in account B. I logged on after dinner to find that the gold spike down executed two of those orders in account A. This would normally not bother me except that I had a buy order in Account A that had been executed earlier today and the sell orders closed that order for a significant loss.

I put in a complaint and their technical team is working on it. I'll let you know what happens.

That doesn't sound good!

Are they sub accounts or totally separate accounts? Am I reading it right, orders placed in one account got filled in a different account

Sub accounts.

They investigated and decided that it was initiated from the other sub account (the one where the error occured). Needless to say, they didn't correct it, and I am done with them. Things have just become a bit shady for my tastes.

I'm moving over to futures (and it's about time). So long, Oanda.

I'll keep my demo with them because i like the simplicity of the testing.

Ivan, just send them your log files, they're indisputable evidence of exactly what happened and what you clicked. And escalate the issue, the front line staff only have a very basic understanding of how the system works and limited options available to them to resolve client disputes.

I've got a little macro which runs every time I close the platform, it times and date stamps and saves the log files for the session as I think they get deleted when a new platform session starts.
