What's worse about Oanda is that when this happens, there is nothing you could do to close an open position except wait to get reconnected to the platform. Other brokers would entertain phoned-in orders in cases like those.
There was a big push up at approx 7:40 CST on the Euro this morning.
Same thing happened, slight delay/freeze. I put in my short market order as the push was occuring and was filled at 3733 despite the freeze. I logged off and back on and I was back in business.
Not exactly sure how far off my fill was from when I hit the sell button since I wasn't watching the quotes but there was a small delay in the execution.
