O Canada

Today is the day Canada votes. It appears the hosers prevelant on ET so happily criticising the U. S. have some of their own very similar problems to resolve.

Let's not forget those pesky Mulims.

Islam a threat to white people, oh my.

The campaign tactics, just horrifying.

Freddy, I was surprised to find you here today. I was sure you'd be out trolling ghettos to bus the homeless and drug ladden around to various sites to cast multiple votes. Then I remembered, unlike the U. S, Canada requires voter I.D.
Canada[edit]
Federal elections[edit]
In Canada, the Federal government mails an Elections Canada registration confirmation card, which the voter takes to the polling station. The card tells the individual where and when to vote. Voters must prove their identity and address with one of three options:[5]

  1. Show one original government-issued piece of identification with photo, name and address, like a driver's license or a health card.
  1. Show two original pieces of authorized identification. Both pieces must have a name and one must also have an address. Examples: student ID card, birth certificate, public transportation card, utility bill, bank/credit card statement, etc.
  1. Take an oath and have an elector who knows the voter vouch for them (both of whom must make a sworn statement). This person must have authorized identification and their name must appear on the list of electors in the same polling division as the voter. This person can only vouch for one person and the person who is vouched for cannot vouch for another elector.
The take away here is for you hosers to clean up your own village of 38 million souls before you make the virtual trip into a country with ten times that and the commensurate problems, expounding the virtues of your personal opinions. Take heart, we're doing all can to get you some Mexicans.

With apologies to Canadians.

Are you in an alterd state. Nowhere did I infer life in the U S is better than Canada nor did I project any of the US ills on Canada. I have a home in Vancouver B. C. I'm simply pointing out to Canadians that continually disparage the U S on this site that they have unresolved issues also.

Nine_Ender, do you attribute Canada's superiority more to the incredible intelligence of the average canadian or their superior moral values? Or is it just a fortunate mixture of both?

What garbage? The sites I linked to are all real and truthful. How can that possibly be an attack? It seems you are stirring up shit. There's no attack on Canada unless you're in some altered paranoid state and percieve it as an attack. It's simply pointing out that Canada isn't without social problems either.
An altered state may be drunk, stoned, etc, whatever may drive one into a state of erroneous perception.
" supporting Canada against your unwarranted attack" Are you in the army, at the border, weapon drawn, lol. I support Canada.
I'll come clean, I was having fun with Freddy as it was a great opportunity to sling some shit back at him for all the shit he slings. I have no problem with Canada or Canadians. I enjoy it as much as they do.

Nine_Ender's posts magically disappeared from this thread? What gives?

I was about to tell him that most of the Canadian residents I talk with in Toronto are trying to move to the U.S. However to be fair... most came from overseas and tried to get into the U.S. first before settling for Canada. Most professionals believe the U.S. provides better economic opportunity than Canada.

The Canadian citizens up here near retirement age spend endless hours planning on how to move to Florida.
