NYSE Closing for President Ford's Funeral?

I am sure no pointy head even thought of it when they went public... If I was a member of a leading market share exchange I would gladly take the day off. NYSE is in a competitive environment now.... Exchanges are $$$$$$$$ driven finally by competive forces, or we woudl still be trading in 1/8's, if you could get it......

Everthing closes, fed minutes on wed instead of tues. Go trade rubber in japan and china or tiger shrimp in vietnam..... God Bless America.....

Not exactly, but I have a penchant for greed. (at least im honest about it) I'm a trader who has to pick the low lying fruit from the market. I'm not one of the lucky ones who sits and collects commissions all day.
