i registered for 2 paid events: LBR's saturday seminar, and (i think) Daniel Granza's for monday. not cheap, but you know what they say about the price of ignorance.

and i definitely will get to as many of the free talks as possible...thanks for the tip on arrival times!

being a Manhattanite for 7 years - and living near Times Square - after the Upper East and West Side and working on Broadway near to the Exchange - I would recommend either seeing if we can book for a private party one of the following

1) The Campell apartment - in Grand Central
2) Rudy's - a REAL dive bar on 9th ave

.... or maybe Zanzibar - also on 9th - a block or two from the event site.

LBR value is face time and personal tip other than that most of her stuff are available on her web site for cheap. I plan on having me some Dungeness Oyster, any other seafood tip
