NYC Traders Expo

It was very disappointing not to see elite trader
But as it was my first time i really enjoyed the show : )
Usually the trade show in vegas are very big comparing to this one ( general merchandise )
The one they are having in NYC is nothing i didn't see a lot of company,s ( Prop company )
I was suprised to see a lot of FX Dealers
IS trading FX getting Hot or what -?
Hope fully i might go tomorrow also to see live trading :)
 
Yeah, lots of Forex dealers. The eMini presenter mentioned something about no commissions but large spreads when trading Forex. If the trading firms act as market makers, they could be front running the trades.

I just finished attending Green's Tax seminar. Lots of good info for traders. I especially liked the hedge fund strategy for successful independent traders who want to manage OPM money. They have something called an "incubator" fund that is cost effective.

And the screens are getting pretty big...

Some guy tried to hard-sell me on his account service. I didn't like that.
 
yesterday i was there till 8:30 pm
today from 8:00 am to 6:30pm
tommorrow planning to be there at 8:00 am..

This guy Franz from TI seems to be a very different breed of traders
the way he is playing ES contracts ( 1k contarcts everyday ) he is making averge 146K every single day...
I just could not believe...but it seems its true...thats what he said.....

I like the freebies tooo, and its fun to see so many of your fellow traders....
I am eqaully sad not to find ET booth...

I liked the E signal presentation :)

GHCO has a booth there ... also interactive brokers

was nice for me to say hello to some former broadway traders now at shoney

I went to james altuchers talk ... was interesting
even if most of it was from his book

that franz guy ... it just does not make sense
to me that someone who makes a ton of money from the market trading needs to also do a chat rooom ... but maybe the LBR people would say
what the heck its just another way to pad the bottom line.

the better day for "live trading " would be tuesday

that "mini cooper" by the gain / forex booth sure looked cool ... and the young lady by genesis booth
sure looks better in a bathing suit than I would
 
Did u see the new version of strategy runner
Their updated version where u can buy the ES YM right from looking at the chart and clicking at the chart
Yes i did see Interactive broker.
And yes there were preety girls ( day trading ) out there to :p
