NYC Prop traders

Hi,
I just recently moved to the city from west coast. I am wondering if there is any formal or informal organization/group for prop traders. Events like organized happy hour after mkt. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanx!

I want to trade for Worldco but I don't know if they will take me or not.
