NYC Hedge-Fund Managers and Silicon Valley CEOs are Flocking to Miami as ‘Tax Refugees,’

Well we're both partially right becuase this also includes the pre-existing UTAS (Hamilton Sundstrand and Goodrich Aerospace) leadership too.

Edit: And yes the CEO did move to Florida which was the topic of this thread.

So those are all subsidiaries of UTX. It is decidedly incorrect to state "All the executives of UTX relocated to Palm Beach Florida mid 2018" when nothing even approaching that actually happened. I understand it doesn't fit a given political narrative to truthfully say "Some executives from some subsidiaries of UTX relocated from around the country to FL." but why bother with being accurate and truthful when you've got an agenda to push, right?

I'm not sure where to begin... research the company a little more so you understand. Let me try it this way... Exactly what is left in CT? Perhaps you can enlighten me. I'd love to know.

Sig is a Elite Trader Troll... He argues for the sake of arguing, you put him in his place but he's gonna keep arguing. Other idiots like him are sle, destreio/guassian and his 6 other accounts

I don’t get that either. When it rains, some of south beach areas/streets can’t handle the amount of water. They have been working on a levy type wall / drainage system for what seems to be 10 years, cutting corners and all. Yet we have $15 mill plus condos selling like hot cakes. The Penthouse at the W hotel broke the record for per sq foot sold in the USA. Crazy. I don’t think it’s All the New Yorkers either, I think it’s Russian and Venezuelan money flowing in.

And even with lowering+ rising sea levels, almost certainly a better RE investment than Venezuela. Low tide is 11 hours from now-i checked.:cool:

The entire corporate headquarters of UTX is in CT. UTX is a conglomerate. It has a bunch of divisions. The corporate HQ for UTX is in CT and is remaining in CT and the leadership of UTX is in CT and is staying in CT. The leadership of their divisions are all over, some are in Florida. Any reasonable person would agree that it's a very different thing for a division of UTX to move it's HQ to FL (from Iowa) than for the entire conglomerate to move its HQ to FL from CT, which you incorrectly asserted. Let me be very concise here:
1. The CEO of UTX is Gregory Hayes. He's in CT and staying there.
2. The COO of UTX is Michael Dumais. He's in CT and staying there.
3. The CTO if UTX is Paul Eremenko. He's in CT and staying there
and I could go on and on listing the entire executive team of UTX that is in CT and staying there. Therefore your statement that "All the executives of UTX relocated to Palm Beach Florida mid 2018" is clearly and unambiguously incorrect. Full stop. As I mentioned, a little civility and reading comprehension never hurt anyone.
