We are proud to host the first open forum panel discussion for New York area day traders
This open table discussion will offer traders the chance to discuss the latest updates on the benefits/costs of the major venues and dark pools, and how to optimize their specific trading strategy using this information.
This event will be moderated by two traders with over 10 years of trading experience each. These traders specialize in speed trading and scalping and will offer valuable advice on their own methods for optimizing their routing to lower overall transaction costs and minimize slippage.
Also invited are some vendors from the several electronic venues to present the specific benefits on each venue and dark pool.
Topics that will be covered include:
⢠Price, liquidity access points to other liquidity pools
⢠Latency and speed of execution fills of each major electronic venue
⢠The edge of individual ECNâs for each manual strategy including scalping, momentum, rebate trading and dark pool strategies
⢠Ways manual traders can help combat HFT algos using different ECN strategies
⢠How to optimize the direct access trading platform for fastest order entry to various venues
The roundtable will take place on Monday August 2 at 6pm. The address is 160 Pearl St. on the corner of wall street , 4th floor. Please RSVP early to reserve as only very limited space is available.
