NY Times outed for lying about crowd size....

Ok. What about Fox News and Seth Rich? That’s a real journalistic integrity question.

If misreporting a crowd by 4000 and correcting it in less than 24 hours is an integrity issue WHAT ABOUT a totally made up a fake narrative about Rich passing dnc emails to Wikileaks, insinuating he was murdered by the Clintons and retracting it after a week?

what about what about what about...
If they lied, then yes, their integrity should be questioned..
I have no problem calling out bullshit from FOX..

But I could also just say "Who cares about Seth Rich?" and that would be the equivalent of your argument. Stupid...

Actually... we do know a choice was made.

at best for the NYT integrity the choice was made to go to post with a non fact checked story even though any newspaper man and particularly any editor at a national paper would know that Trump and Crowd size should be confirmed before going to print. It was either that or they purposely chose to print a figure which underestimated the crown by over 500 percent.

The rest of your post is projection or misrepresentation. As it tell you lefties over and over if Trump is guilty I hope he gets prosecuted and unless he gets obamacare repealed I will be voting for someone else in the primary.

You don’t know a choice was made. You just made that up.

Now what is important is the correction and the timeliness of the correction. Both of which were done in accordance with good journalistic practices. Unlike say Fox News and the Seth Rich story, but now I’m engaging in whataboutism myself.

I digress, my assessment is you older guys are so worried about small issues inaccurately reported by major news orgs because you’re afraid of the truth in the larger stories about Trump and looking for anyway to undermine their legitimacy.

You guys are basically sticking your fingers in your ears and yelling la-la-la.

As I said before, no one cares about crowd size.

So you’re saying a story that misrepresents how the leaked dnc emails made it to WikiLeaks is equivalent to a story that misrepresented the size of a crowd?

Think about that and the gravity of each story.

What difference, at this point, does it make?

Kind of a handy line, dontcha think?

We can point to many dozens of stories, lies, and mistruths about President Trump since his election that would be equivalent in gravity...but why bother?
Everyone knows what’s up.

No. Everyone does not know “what’s up.”

You claimed you can point a number of stories about Trump that are equal to the Seth Rich story fox ran with. Go ahead and show me these stories...

Trump has Dementia...
MLK Bust Removed, therefore, Trump is a racist...
Pee tapes...
Russian Collusion...

and on and on and on...

Ok. So those are general topics. We are talking about actual reporting of facts, and mind you this thread is about the NYT. Produce the articles and the discrepancies.
