Where China was in 1998, India is now in 2010. India is 12 years behind China.

If India can manage to grow at 10% p.a for next 2 decades, most of the problems which India face will be solved. Poverty will still remain as 30-40 million out of 1500 million Indians in 2030 will still be under poverty line but most of the problems will be solved.

There is no problem in US. US is a great country- 5% of world population consume 25% of global resources..what else you need?

Its all GREED. Even homeless people in US eat eggs and chickens. When i heard eggs at 99 cents per dozen and a five-pound roasting chicken at $ 5 can be purchased in US, i was shocked !

I am not sure if king fisher is being facetious... but everyday as americans some of us are thanking God or good fortune for winning the global population lottery.

How often do we tell our kids finish your food some people don't have any.

Whenever we get to play golf or view the sunset, we can't help but feel incredibly blessed.
 
Indian will NEVER become economical power in zillion year. The reason is in their blood. they don't have ambitious becoming a world dominate force, not even regionally.
 
Default is not a surprise because Reserve Bank of India permitted Rahul Gandhi promoted MFIs to collect 52% interest from farmers without sharing their risks and responsibilities.
