NVS 440 Quadro and NVS 290

I bought a new dell T3400 which came with 2 NVS 290 video cards. I also bought a NVS 440 Quadro card and running vista business. I updated all the drivers, but I can't seem to get both the NVS 290 and 440 at the same time. Didn't think there was compatibility issues. Any help? Thanks.
 
Did you try swapping PCIE slots.. the 440 in one, the 290 in the other, and vice versa?

I've set up a 6-monitor rig with 2, 290s and a 280 PCI... I know that works on XP.
