Nvda and law of large numbers

Chanos is probably one of the smartest HF managers but he's been trying to short TSLA for a long time to no avail.

Then he is not smart. He just flipped a coin and got it horribly wrong, and kept flipping and kept getting it wrong. Just another dumbfuck with OPM.

I'm sure he must have made money shorting TSLA in 2022 unless he already closed shop. I do remember him trying to short TSLA all the up from the IPO to 2021 bubble top.

I think he didn't realize shorting the only company making EVs was a bad idea. Its like trying to short NVDA or LLY -- they are essentially monopolies. PayPal was like that as well when it was the only real payment processor for much of the web.

Going long or short is all about timing it right, or having the necessary funds to wait it out if you don't time it quite exactly right.

At the Rate nvda is moving its adding approximately $150 to $200 billion market capitalization a month. In the last week alone its added $80 billion in market cap. It's becoming a bloated pig. At the end of the year this will be an additional $1.5 to $2 trillion in market capitalization, making it the most valuable company in the world, sorry to say it, but no way no way no way, do earnings justify this kind of market capitalization

SMCI will be added to the S&P 500 in 2 weeks. Should go up another 20% or so. I remember when MRNA was added and it skyrocketed.

Wonder how they came up with SMCI out of thousands of stocks to be added in the s&p 500....the stock is up 20 fold in 2 years, let me say that again. 20 fold!!!

They hype even has the board adding in crazy stocks like SMCI to the s&p 500. Wow these are super bubbling times!!!!
