Since the close. In less than 12 hrs with thinnest volume possible nvda has managed to gain over $ 40 billion in market capitalization meaning just in the last hours while everyone is sound asleep, it has gained the same value as the entire market cap as Velero Energy....


Valero energy is the 375th most valuable company by market cap. In 2022 the company had made a revenue of $176 billion with nearly 6 billion in cash on hand and nearly 10,000 employees.

And entire Valero energy in only a handful of hrs since the after market hour has opened for trading.

Gupta's main thesis is straightforward. Competition for generative Al hardware is catching up, end-user deployments don't need much power once the database is built, there's a shakeout due soon, and Nvidia's estimated 98 per cent market share of data-centre GPUs probably won't last:

Al chip demand will eventually normalize once the initial training build has been completed. The inference phase of Al is going to require less computing power than the training phase. High-powered PCs and phones could be capable enough to run inferences locally, reducing the need for growing GPU plants. [...] We think the cost of building Large Language Models (LLMs) and limited monetization opportunities could eventually force the exit of smaller (but still meaningful) customers of Nvidia from the Al market, helping to ease GPU supply constraints.


Revenue growth for big tech is expected to slow this year, while the likes of Meta and Amazon are working on their own chips. That's had because just five customers provided 46 per cent of Nvidia's revenue last quarter, with Microsoft and Meta alone accounting for 28 per cent of the total

Actually many many many mannnnny people said that once trump got elected that the markets would drop. I remember hearing it for months prior to the November election in news and articles everywhere. In fact I remember I stayed up and as trump started leading futures were tanking and were down alot that night and into the morning prior to the opening bell. I believe the dow was around 18k at that point. But it's true nearly everyone thought markets would fall very hard I'm that election year.

This is not true, when a stock is in a bubble it makes little difference.

Especially with stock splits. Nividia could do a 10:1 stock split. And double again in a month.

Traders are trading the momentum and selling to greater f**ls or ready to take a loss if it reverses. Few care what the market cap even is.

They study larger numbers + trends .
AMZN went up super+ long time before they ever had earnings LOL+ that was the announced plan. So that sorta shot the PE theory down a bit , even if the stock trended upLOL
Too bad so seldom can anyone predict markets

According to the trajectory of nvda...this week it should close between 755 -770 a share

Adding between 80 billion to 115 billion in market cap

I actually would think 800 by Friday as a gigantic possibility and 1000 by Thursday February 22nd!!!

2.4 trillion dollar market cap by end of February. ....earnings should push it to 1000!
Split announcement will push it up 100 bucks in 1 day ....

NVDA is also pumping up everything around it, as related companies are expected to get some of it's run off.

recently noticed that hype around nvidia. there was a very big surge high in the sky on the chart...
they have released a whole new line of graphical processors and they are about to create a whole new ones in the future using new technologies. AMD is already outplayed, I guess

Whisper rev is for 23 billion and guidance for next quarter of 25 billion..if they miss these whispers stock tanks
