Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to trade purely on numbers. I saw a guy trade this way successfully but never saw him again. no idea what he was thinking but he did it all day every day successfully.

?....are you referring to economic news report "numbers" or specific market prices, usually round-"numbers", i.e. price-handles? :confused:

Just a guess but I think he means tape reading, i.e., no charts. That's pretty much how I trade; haven't looked at a chart in months. I just let my algorithms crunch the numbers. Not about to disclose specifics of course ...
