Nuclear Energy is Dead.

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

We could just put solar panels on all government buildings, all business rooftops and warehouses, all homes including trailer parks (that would be an upgrade in appearance)...and not have to worry about the downside of nuclear plants.

Don't forget the candles, because that's what you would be using when the sun's not shining.

Solar will have it's uses, but like other renewables except hydro it in not reliable.

Quote from 377OHMS:

Southern California is on-track for a direct hit Friday. The UN says there is a "nuclear plume" heading straight there.

It will probably just mean staying in the house if any precaution is required at all. Everyone here is already half-dead from the smog. :D

Damn, you live in Cali?

How are things there? I listen to coast to coast( yeah, yeah, I know, nutbird central), and they say things are bad there. Is that true?

What's a little radiation? You're supposed to get the big one in Cali this weekend. A little radiation, a little earthquake and toss in a bit of tsunami for Saturday and Sunday.
