NSA Whistleblower Revealed

Quote from Grandluxe:

So this guy has to flee for his life and take refuge in China under persecution from Obama's goons. How times have changed.

The guy said even the President can be tapped , you cauliflower.

Quote from Covertibility:

I'm surprised this didn't start after McVeigh blew up the federal building in OK. And yes, there was internet back then.

It did:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnivore_(software)*

Implemented in '97, 2.5 years after the Oklahoma bombing....

*Wow, conspiracy nuts, listen. When I tried to link the software, it automatically redirected to carnivores, meaning animals, by putting the end of url sign to the wrong place. Nice.... I had to change the url manually to the correct one..... just wow....

Quote from Mercor:

You take the complete word of the NSA employee who fled to China?
The NSA has a job to sort data. There are legal limits on handling that data.
Snowden talks more about what the NSA could do and not what it has done.
This is different then the IRS who did admit to acting unfairly.

All this needs to be reviewed , of course.

In the end, the NSA will have control over lots of data.

Exactly Mercor, each employee or soldier can't make moral and legal judgments on each task he is given. That would be anarchy. This issue will be one of the few to get an honest discussion in Washington. There are Dems and Reps outraged and Dems and Reps supporting the president on this. It's nice to see an issue talked about where each group isn't towing a party line but actually discussing the problem.
