Can someone tell me when the nasdaq futures contracts rollsover...I always seem to miss it by a couple days

Here are a couple of definitions that I collected some time ago:
NQ, ES: Rollover: It's always on the first Thursday after the first Friday. Actually it is always the 2nd Thursday UNLESS Friday is the first day of the month, in which case it is the first Thursday. Easy way is to think of it as the THURS prior to the SECOND FRI of the expiration month. Rollover in the stock indices is 8 days before the 3rd Friday (expiration) of the quarter end months.

Wouldn't it be easier to just say the Thursday a week before options expiration?
