NQ traders

Quote from drortrader:

how do you now if its gono be choppy day or not

I don't because I can't predict the future. I have to place some trades near the edges of the range to see if the range expands. I usually know after 1 or 2 trades. You could also wait for the globex range to expand. For most traders they have a feel for it and it's hard to explain with words.

Well, I was trading CL and 6E all day, so to be honest I havent looked at it until just now. But...

That looks pretty damn nice, definitely not an annoying day to trade. Im going to start keeping a closer eye on this contract.

Based upon your prior commentary about the chop in NQ for that particular trading day in comparison to your most recent commentary of CL and 6E...

You're looking for volatility.

Simply, take a look at the futures of CL, GC, 6E, TF, DAX, CAC40 and HSI for nice volatility that results in strong directional price movements in comparison to NQ. In fact, most of the traders that I know that trades volatility are trading one or several of these mentioned trading instruments.
