NQ, seriously?

Does anyone here trade NQ with any regularity? It used to be my market of choice a number of years ago, but it has since become the equivalent of a crazy video game. Too wild for me.

I do ... long just now with average fill 7303.50 ... profit target about 65 points higher ... it is wild these days, and lots of slippage on stop orders so I have been using limit entries more than in the past. Still use stops on the loss orders because if it goes through your stop it might not revisit that level for a long time.

My initial stop was 7294.50 ... took some off already, stop at entry now as it should not go back that far if rally is going to continue to back to the HOD

Okay, thanks. You bought after conclusion of the latest pullback and placed the stop below the most recent low. Sounds reasonable, although, stepping back, it's still in somewhat of a downtrend at the moment. Are you adding/subtracting along the way, and how are you handling this pullback right now? (If I'm getting into private stuff, just say so.)

I have taken off what I wanted at +10 points and +20 points ... the rest ride for now looking for 7368.50 ... Pullback now has three distinct attempts down, if this breaks lower I'll yank and look for more info ... that 8.25 low just now would be reasonable given that the pullback so far would change character to a reversal if that breaks.

Still long my trail position ... Have plan, will trade ... trading NQ like riding a dragon lol

But once you accept that it is a dragon, then you no longer get disturbed so long as it is acting like a dragon.

looking for 7368.50

Missed the measured move target at 58 and reacted too slowly so not the best exit, but Anytime you can make 50 points or more on an entry it is a good day. Still holding a handful as runners as I believe a close above Friday's low opens the potential for a retest Friday's high this week.
