NQ, NDX, QQQQ...what showed you they would be "spanked" hard today?

when considering the NQ,QQQQ,NDX...what told you it would be a terrible tank day for them?...was it simply CSCO...the Bernake statement was not until later on...what technical indicators told you this?...or what else?...
 
There were no good indicators

It was just panic selling . Profit taking.

The fed comment was actually bullish because it indicates less inflation and greater chance of rate cut. It boggles me why no one besides me realizes this.
