No one wants to say it, but the real psychology of electing Trump isn't racimsn, or misogyny, or Muslims etc. Sure those people voted for Trump, but those people are in the minority.
The real reason is as old as the bible but beautifully expressed by American Indians: Walk a mile in my shoes
I keep going back to it because the parallels are amazing: Nazi Germany. Do you know why the german people threw the Jews into Hitler's jaws? Because in those days, the Jews were the 1% in Germany. The resentment grew to pure hatred.
It is spite. "Teach you a lesson. My life can't get any worse, but yours sure can". Maybe Spite needs to be added to my new Seven Deadly Sins.
