Could you at the least provide some context of what this CNN piece is supposed to be saying? Nothing is more annoying than these people who just post a link and expect me to click it. Second of all, why would act like a story from CNN is credible in the first place?

What is The Magnitsky Act ? Someone on CNN says it has something to do with the Fredo's meeting with the Russian lawyer.

It is an Act named after the Russian tax lawyer Magnitsky who was also Bill Browder's lawyer in Russia. Browder was once the largest U.S. investor in Russia. Magnitsky uncovered a large Russian Tax Fraud case, was sent to prison, where he died??? The Act freezes the U.S. accounts of Oligarch's accused of human rights abuses (torture, murder).
