W wilburbear Oct 11, 2006 #2 Anybody able to say what a good commission rate is for options? I once heard from the horse's mouth (VP clearing firm level), that a small group of 4 or 5 guys was getting 35 cents. They were doing big volume, but it was also a year ago.
