Now teenagers can trade stocks with Fidelity’s new youth investing accounts

The parent holds a stock for 10 years.
The child then buys & sells the same stock in the kiddie account, not the parents.
Would the parent then have to pay cap gains on his long term holding using FIFO accounting?

A child in a kiddie account buys the same stock the parent is short in the parents account.
Did the child just cover some of the parents stock?
