Now no stimulus negotiations until after election

Good call. But it wouldn't surprise me if Pelosi says no and markets drop, anything's possible.
I'm pretty sure everyone on both sides would be pretty disappointed if Pelosi said "yes, let's throw out carefully crafted legislation with months of negotiation on all sides and go with 3 lines from a tweet instead without any further thought or negotiation." I can't imagine there's anyone with a pulse besides Trump and maybe a few of his sycophants who thinks she'd welcome this with open arms and suddenly do whatever Trump wanted.

ah yes, "bailouts" for the top contributing dem cities. I call it a refund

Those cities produce relatively more in terms of output (GDP). They have heavy taxes and therefore more resources to work with, but still can't manage a budget. Also, given that same logic, I bet you would object to a refund for individuals who contribute more (a tax-break for the top 1%).

One simple tweet and hundreds of billions gone. But no worries. Absolutely no worries because tomorrow or Thursday another headline will break that there talking again and that a deal may happen before the election....just understand a deal is coming but when is anyone's guess...but just a headline in the next week will send the markets up by 3% and then the actual deal will send markets up 7-10% in a month.

He has covid or was he just pretending hah

No worries like I mentioned yesterday
And tomorrow it was......

U.S. stocks rose on Wednesday after President Donald Trump tweeted support for aid to airlines and other stimulus measures, stoking hope that a smaller aid package could be passed by lawmakers.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average traded 544 points higher, or nearly 2%. The S&P 500 climbed 1.8%, while the Nasdaq Composite advanced 1.9%.

Hold on here, are you saying the great depression was solely an American thing?

And you are criticizing others?

He's criticizing America. The context is America. The criticism was about American's handling of a depression crisis.

Instead of shitposting on ET you should probably be paying attention to your critical reading class.

You guys are funny, we basically have one political party in this country. Just as a side note: markets outperform with a Dem in the in the White House. Also, lower deficits. Google it.

Don't try to deflect your lack of critical reading and comprehension on me. Here are your words verbatim:

Seems straightforward to me -

Allow stimulus under some conditions:

1. Stimulus is paid out as compensation for work done for a government work program. There are plenty of parks, roads, manual labor (house building, etc) and other jobs that need to be done. We can clean up all these things and improve our country while insuring people are working.

or

2. Stimulus is paid out in the form of EBT/Welfare. Funds are locked such that first your housing expenses are paid from the stimulus, and any remainder can only be spent on goods necessary for survival. No amazon, no walmart, etc. You'll be going to the local government office to collect your bag of food and toiletries in exchange for FoodTokens.

These are the only ways I can see we can prevent enriching the ultra wealthy who control the supply chain and also improve our country.

Being Canadian and not knowing anything about America you probably never actually studied the great depression so it's understandable you know jack shit about it. But the country has done (1) before and it worked well. (2) is a more modern solution since we have the infrastructure to control welfare money already. We call that EBT here, and it's so strict people sell their EBT cards outside of local grocers in order to buy booze/luxuries. Mind you, this is extremely illegal but they are rarely ever punished. We have the infrastructure to do this. All of this helicopter money is simply lobbyist controlling our money supply to direct it right into the pockets of billionaires.

What's the 1st thing you address? Is it America? No. It's stimulus.

The context is stimulus, the subject is America's handling of it. You clearly can't even do the same critical reading that you claim others lack.

I'm not surprised, as your grammatical error "American's" should be "America's". That tells me you are not a native english speaker. How about you go back to your country then?

Is it a Jewish thing or a retarded New England thing that you talk only in hyperboles?...

It's a retarded Jewish New England thing? *shrugs* Dunno' what your problem is here, other than that you seem to think that Biden is going to stop at 28%.

except CARES COVID relief did bailout the top contributors disproportionately already.
