Novice to FOREX-how to open $1k acct

I might look into Oanda. I might also just keep trading ETFs on commodities in my Scottrade even though the problem there is every trade I trade all the capital in my pretty small acct. and I have to wait 3 days due to the stupid reg T rule.
 
I would suggest you go for reliable broker that offers minimum deposit for micro account since you are a novice in the forex world, it is better to start up with little capital if at all you are in a rush to start trading with live account and money, but if not, you can keep learning through account for while so as to get more experience about the business.
