As a martial artist I would have been very surprised if any of them succeeded in this exceptionally difficult break.
I used to break bricks but clay bricks like this were wayy out of my league.
As a comparison I found it much easier to break a 2inch thick x 8 x16 stepping stone than a 1/2 inch thick 6x6 clay tile of the same material ( as house brick).
So I wouldn't get too comfortable dissing these troops abilities, especially after seeing their hand to hand skills on "Deadliest Warrior".
Of course the question is why did they try did they really think they were superhumans?
My point exactly. Why would you go on stage in front of an audience to try this not knowing if you would succeed? They also didn't seem very disciplined in their approach. I like how the guy on the left gives it one last unsuccessful kick with his boot. Maybe they should have tried breaking them with their foreheads! Too funny.
