In looking at the Shanghai Composite index, it appears traders are betting on a huge new boom for the Chinese economy.
This smells fishy to me.....how best to make a short play on China ?

Yikes! Short China? You may be ultimately right, but go bust before being able to take advantage of your prescience.

All of this QE'ing by the central banks is going to end badly. I guess the only remaining question is when ?

PBOC is doing everything in their power to prevent what you are thinking about betting on from happening

I wouldn't touch Chinese indexes right now, short or long, but nobody has yet answered OP's question.

yes, that was the question, "If you were going to short China, how would you do it?"

I'd google "China ETF" and see if any are activie enough to have options, and start putting on bear spreads

Is this the most liquid Chinese ETF ?
