Maybe you read it differently than I do, but I don't interpret this line as describing ignorance itself but a condition describing wisdom 'where ignorance is bliss'ful.

I didn't realize that so many of these leftists lead meaningless lives in near-menial type positions. It kind of explains the responses I see from them here on ET.
And the canadians, well there is just no explaining them.
If I was stuck behind a hotel counter or in a fast-food joint I guess I might lash out like these guys. I see where the hate is coming from. Its financial.
You should have to own property or show a decent salary to be able to vote. That would filter out most of these losers. I don't think they should have any influence over the conduct of the government until they become stakeholders and have some skin in the game.
