Not Possible....profit On The Screen

Quote from datstrader:

I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT TRADING ON THE SCREEN WILL NEVER BE PROFITABLE. I traded on the floor in the pit for 8 years with profit trading up to 50 bigs which is 250 minis i made alot of money trading in those times now on the screen have lost almost everything trying the same. I think mostly fools think of profit on the screen. Most of my trading friends agree with this comment
BEST OF LUCK TO YOU ALL....HOPE YOU HAVE DEEP POCKETS YOUR GOING TO NEED IT

8 whole years . . . wow!

I personally know 6 ex-pit traders with over 140 years combined pit experience that each now pull in 7 figure a year incomes from the "Screen".
I guess not all "retired" pit traders have limited learning capabilities.

I wish them all the best. I hope for more profit for you and your friends

dats,

I tell anyone who inquires about trading to run because most are not willing to pay the cost of figuring out the game. Every flower that ever bloomed had to go through a whole lot of dirt to get there. Most will suffocate before getting out of the dirt they committed themselves to. One must really ask themselves, what am I really willing to sacrifice to learn how to trade properly and make a nice living? Me? I threw it all away to get to what I am capable of in trading today. That was about seven years ago. So yes profit is there, but what are you willing to stake to get there? Tough call my friend, tough call. Only you know what you are capable of.

best

I feel bad for your kids because they probably deserved some financial help when they grow up through college. Sorry daddy lost tha nest egg gambling.

Stop your whining and just bag my groceries.

You come into this forum telling people and attacking their livelihood telling them they "can't" do something they are already doing with varying degrees of success.
You are upset that you aren't yet able to do what others are doing. Then you get upset when people attack you.
You open yourself up for criticism then lamb blast those that criticize you.
If you don't like the comments you are getting, leave.
It's hard to understand what you are trying to accomplish with this thread anyway except maybe some sort of emotional release because you won't get any sympathy here.
