Not judging but.....

You will probably, win the big one before I do. A lot of times, those who play the lottery on a whim end up winning the big one. Has happened multiple times. Like the crazy laws of the universe.

I do like to win;
I should have checked for silver quarters when gambling in pool halls as a youngster/LOL Live + learn.
I start most of my trades with small fills=best way. Exception to that rule-------1st or last quarter tech etfs + I get in late/so have to not get too far behind. [Not to be confused with revenge trading which is oversized/overleveraged stupidity]

I do bet on the horses but, more as a hobby to entertain myself. Trading is much easier as far as making monies on. Do play the lottery thru Powerball or Megamillions when the jackpot is $100 million up. The extra $2 or $4 is no big deal when I lose hundreds of dollars on an option trade that fails. You have to be in it to win it even if the odds is probably, 200 million to 1 odds. Someone still has to win it in the end. I lump it in with my entertainment fund. One time I got 3 numbers plus the mega number. That is the closest I got with the other 2 numbers off by 1 or 2 digits. Who knows? If it is meant to be, it will be.

I'm curious, how many times or how much have you won in cash in the lottery regardless to how much money you've put into it and regardless to the fact that its just entertainment to you ???

Don't really know. I do not keep track of it. Do not play all the time like some lottery players. I only play when the jackpots are high. When the jackpot is hit, I stop playing. And I buy only 1 ticket which is $2? A movie ticket which costs how much $20 or so, costs much more. And most movies nowadays are pretty bad. Long stopped going to movies. That is not counting popcorn and other snacks you buy on top of that.

Yeah but I was just wondering if you kept track of how much you've won.

My mom does the casinos, lottery, Vegas stuff with her lady friends (4 of them). It's just pure entertainment to them but they have won about 100k in cash for each...that's about in 10 years of doing such.

They were planning a big Casino trip (2 week stay) to Spain via a cruise or road trip had they stayed at my place in France but the Pandemic hit and they had to cancel.
