Not getting quotes on IB

what's going on? I'm in a position? hmm.. it was fine a few minutes earlier.

also, let's say i have a position on before i go to work. i put a stop. but tws shut down after a while? hmm.. it doesn't keep running all day during the trading day? so one has to actively monitor? hmm.

Now, I can't even log in. Anyone experience the same problems?
 
Not a problem here. Tws has been running on my PC
all afternoon and evening. Of course it does disconnect
for a few min. around 11:30 CDT when IB does some
work on the servers.

Look at the time, each day around midnight US time, accounts on the US and European servers go through a daily reset. The reset takes 1-5 minutes. Next time, rather than post, how about picking up the phone and calling the help desk or starting a customer chat. You'd have an immediate answer.
