But going back to your chart, I see what you mean. The change in global mean temp was negative 158 months ago, and the change was negative last month, so the global mean temp has not risen in 158 months.

Bottom line. The warming trend has not been broken. The earth is still warming and the models have certainly not failed. This chart shows that clearly. Only by cherry picking points over a short time period on a noisy chart can one show no warming.

This chart clearly shows that warming trend continues. Just as jerm continues to pretend that he doesn't believe in AGW.
