No as a person who believes we should conserve the environment intelligent... I am against expanding nuclear power until we find a way to deal with the waste and I would rather see the billions and billions we spend on global warming bullshit be returned to the tax payers or spent on cleaning up the oceans and helping fisheries improve.
More like - man's contribution to 'global warming' via the release of greenhouse gasses is so insignificant it is not worthy of concern, and does not require any type of public policy action.
This may be a good time to point out that the planet is actually entering a natural cooling cycle, and cold is a greater threat to mankind than heat.
The billions of government research dollars wasted on 'global warming' CO2 research should be diverted to focus on helping man adapt to a naturally changing climate. Examples of this include improved housing materials, improved construction methods to endure storms, advanced utility research for water/sewer, and other items that will benefit man in adapting to either colder (most likely) or warmer climates.

For a few years now I have told you:
There is no proof we have warmed outside of natural variation
There is no proof man made CO2 is causing warming - for all we know adding man made co2 could be causing clouds which reflect the suns energy back out.
At times I have also said cutting down rain forests and planting corps and the fact there are now billions of us might have an impact on the overall climate.... but we really do not know whether we are warming outside natural variation. So its possible the earth adjusts to our presence. We have a very dynamic environment.
So, until we know more I suggest we channel a good deal of the billions spent into cleaning up the oceans and now do to recent news... nuclear waste.

Then again, politicians wasting time is a hallmark characteristic of Washington D.C. Additionally, access to affordable energy is more of a top priority for Americans than tackling climate change.
More than two-thirds (67%) say they worry about the availability/affordability of energy, while less than half (49%) worry about climate change.
Out of 15 issues, only 24% of Americans care a great deal about climate change, with an additional 25% caring about it a fair amount. Whereas, access to energy was greatly on the minds of 37% Americans, with another 30% saying they cared a fair amount. In all, 67% of Americans care more about keeping their homes heated and lit at an affordable rate, than combating climate change (49%)...
